The Ohio Department of Education and Workforce announced the 2022-2023 Momentum award winners earlier this week. The award is based on improvements made to Ohio's School Report Cards, which are released each fall and rate districts in five categories: Achievement, Progress, Gap Closing, Graduation, and Early Literacy.
Awardees must improve their Performance Index(PI) score by three or more points over the previous year's report card and receive a progress rating of 4 or more stars.
